Boiling Another Pot of Spaghetti Code
Previously, I added an RSS feed in my site using AI.
I found out that it wasn’t so reliable when I checked on my site the following day. Sometimes the feed doesn’t load at all. I’ve decided to scrap that code and embedded a script from an RSS2HTML site instead of having the RSS pass through JavaScript methods in the backend.
This is a bit of a segue, but I posted about how I might make a tutorial in my status.cafe. This is less of a tutorial and more of a ramble because it’s pretty straightforward. You just have to mess with some CSS to get the look you want.
The result that I have isn’t as visually appealing as the vibe-coded version, but it’s much simpler to maintain and reliable. I also feel like I’ve learned more this way. (Well, duh).
